What's accessprohibited, what does it mean and who's the crazy guy behind these pictures ?
Well.. It's getting access and exploring the abandonned and closed structure. Most people walk around the city without taking the proper time to admire the dead living wolrd we all live in, and what's hidding behind those fallen walls. So I shoot it before it get lost unnoticed by the time.
It's all about pushing every limit as far as possible, and always further. Creativity, but also risk. You'd be most propably scared of some entrance we use, let alone the possibility of getting caught by cops, security gard, or just junkies looking at us thinking of how much powder they could get by selling our photograhpy gear.
I do this because I'm somewhat an artist, I have my own way of looking and I want everyone to see like I do. So I try to give all the emotion and ambiance I can.. Wich is not always a great success.
I've been asked by alot of people, what kind of camera I use. The quick and funny answer is a kodak digital plus, it's a cheap and single use camera. Of course, it's not true. I use a canon 30d with alot of other stuffs (couple lens, some flashes&flashlights, a good tripod and a wireless shutter remote, and the list goes on and on). But all this is kind of irrelevant... It's all tools and what realy matters, is the eyes looking thrue the viewfinder.. my left eye .. my vision and my soul ...
